Program Overview & Tryout Schedule

2025-26 Rep/ Development Program

Indoor & Outdoor Program

Our Development and Competitive Program runs from mid-October to the end of August/beginning of September.

The Indoor season includes two  team practices per week. One of these practices will run on turf at Stouffville Athletic Centre. Team turf training will be scheduled for Saturdays or Sundays. The second practice will be at a Durham district school gym on a weeknight. Day and time will depend on coach/gym availability.  Some teams may also participate in exhibition games or tournaments/festivals.

For the Outdoor  season, our teams practice twice per week (split between fields in Uxbridge and Port Perry) and play one league game per week. League games can be in south Durham, Cavan, Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland, Cobourg, or Port Hope.

Practice nights depend on coach/field availability. League games are determined and scheduled by the Durham Region Soccer Association (DRSA). Teams typically participate in at least two festivals/ tournaments in the Spring/Summer.

Player Commitment & Expectations

Soccer is a team sport and there is a  level of commitment from players, both in time and effort, that is expected during both our Indoor and Outdoor seasons. Players should be prepared to attend a majority of team activities. This helps ensure the necessary attendance for coaches to be able to run successful and effective practices and for teams to be able to, not only field a team for league games, but have substitute players. The overall  goals is for players to have the best possible experience.

If you don’t feel your child is able to make this kind of commitment, we understand and encourage you to participate in our recreational programming.

U8-U18 Team Trials

Club trials for our Development and Competitive teams will start in September.

Our trials schedule is posted below and registration for these will be available in your Power Up account from 5.00pm on August 20th.. Players must register to attend trials.

There is no fee to register/attend. Participation at 2 out of 3 team trials is expected.

Our 2011 boys iModel team will be hosting open trials throughout August and September. Please see our website for registration.

For our U8-U13 team trials, volunteer coaches will be on hand to assess players to see if they are ready to play beyond our recreational program. Unfortunately, we cannot take every player that attends our trials due to limited training space and volunteer coaches. We do encourage players who are not selected to continue in our recreational programming to further develop their skills.

If there are enough players (assessed as being ready) in an age division for two teams, and qualified/knowledgeable volunteers to coach, it will run as an open roster. Players will not be assigned to a particular team. All players will practice together with the lead coach running training, helped by the assistant coaches.

Player Registration Fee Information

The player registration fee for 2025/26 has yet to be determined as we are in the process of trying to finalize our Indoor training facilities and uniform supplier but, due to rising costs in many areas, will increase.
